According to the information base of Iran Oil Terminals Company, Abbas Asadrooz stated: Iran Oil Terminals Company due to its responsibility in the field of storage, measurement and export of crude oil and due to its important role in the value chain of the National Iranian Oil Company Has always maintained the stability of production and upgraded its capabilities in the field of equipment upgrades and preparation of operating conditions to increase the production and export of crude oil in line with the policies of the oil industry.

He added: Ensuring the continuation of exports and upgrading the storage capacity of crude oil, which is one of the important indicators for assessing the capacity of an oil terminal, is always seriously pursued by the Iranian Oil Terminals Company.

Asadrooz continued: "The principle of any industry is to maintain facilities by carrying out timely repairs; Due to the comprehensiveness of the issue and the participation of financial issues, technical inspection, procurement of goods, human resources, etc., the issue has been raised under the title of physical assets management; The repair and renovation of export wharves can be considered as one of the strategic assets in this area.

The CEO of Iran Oil Terminals Company stated: In this regard, the improvement project of berths 9 and 10 of the eastern wharf of Kharg terminal with a credit of about 250 billion rials was put on the agenda, the executive operation of which has been started by the contractor.

He stated that the purpose of this project is to improve berths 9 and 10 (from axes 101 to 121) of the eastern wharf of Kharg Island and said: mechanical activities, electricity, instrumentation, blasting and painting will be done in order to improve berths 9 and 10.

 Asadrooz emphasized: with the completion of major repairs and modernization of wharves, the export capacity of crude oil will definitely increase and the stability of operations will be improved.
