Seyyed Pirouz Mousavi pointing out the features of Kharg Island for exporting Oil , he said : Kharg Island is the largest storage and export of petroleum of the country .
He continued : one of the distinctive features of this Island which has turned it to the unique place for exporting and storage of the petroleum is suitable height for construction of petroleum tanks and also being close to oily fields in Khuzestan province .
Iranian Oil Terminals Company Director specified the other natural benefits of Kharg region as the deep beaches and said : this feature make the suitable berth possible for loading oil tankers .
He also reminded : the successful implementation of numerous modernization projects , upgrading and basic overhauling of installation , infrastructure of docks , loading cranks and floats are all the success of this company last year.
Mousavi referring to replacement of the transferring and flowing pipelines , he mentioned of the other measures taken in the past years as improving operational fleets and their basic overhaul .
He pointed out that the great searching successes , and studying the arrangements of Jask oil terminal at the same time , show the firm purpose and high resolution of Iranian Oil Terminals Company workers in 1394 .
